Tavuklarda kırmızı acı biberli rasyonla beslenmenin glandula uropygialis üzerine etkisinin makro-anatomik yönden incelenmesi
Bu araştırmada tavuklarda kırmızı acı biberli rasyonla beslenmenin glandula uropygialis üzerine olan etkisi makro-anatomik olarak incelendi. Bunun için 100 adet dişi civciv kullanıldı. Civcivlerden kontrol grubunu oluşturan 50 adedi normal rasyonla, deney grubunu oluşturan diğer 50 adedi de normal rasyona % l oranında (1 kg yeme 10 gr) kırmızı acı biber ilave edilen rasyonla beslendi. Araştırmaya civcivler bir günlük yaşta iken başlanmış ve 5 ay devam etmiştir. Kırmızı acı biberli rasyonla beslenenlerde glandula uropygialis'in ağırlığının, bezin sağ ve sol loplarının uzunluk, genişlik ve kalınlığı ile papilla gl. uropygialis'in uzunluğunun ilk dört ayda deney grubundaki hayvanlarda kontrol grubundakilere göre daha fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kontrol ve deney grubu hayvanlarda beze ait 'bu değerler arasında görülen farklılıkların istatistiksel bakımdan önemli olmadığı saptanmıştır. Macro-anatomical investigation on the effects of feeding with a diet containing red hot pepper on the urupygial gland of the chicken
In this study, the effect of feeding chickens with diet containing red hot peper on the macro-anatomical structure of the uropygial gland was examined. For this reason, 100 female chicks were used. The femele chicks which were 50 in nummer forming the control group were fed on with normal diet, and the rest of the femal chicks, which were also 50 in nummer, forming the experimental group were fed on with the diet containing red hot pepper in diet of 1% (i.e. 10 g. for 1 kg. feed) to the normal diet. The study began when the female chicks were one-day-old and lasted 5 monts. The weight of the uropygial gland, the length, width and thickness of right and left lobes of uropygial gland, and the length of papilla glandula uropygialis in those which were fed on with red hot pepper diet were found out to be much more compared to control group within the first four monts. It was found out that there was not a statistical significance within the differences of the values belonging to the uropygial glands of control and experimental groups animal. Whereas, the differences of each groups within groups both in control and experimental groups were considered as significant (p<0.05, p<0.01, p<0.001). On the other hand, the differences between the values of the uropygial gland's right and left lobes in control and experimental groups were not considered as statistically significant. As a result, it was found out that there was no effect of red hot pepper consumed in non-toxic doses on the macro-anatomical structure of the uropygial gland.
