Tavuklarda kırmızı acı biberli rasyonla beslemenin böbrekler olan etkisinin histolojik yönden incelenmesi

Histological investigation of the effects on the kidneys of chickens, of feeding with a diet containing hot red pepper

This study was carried out on isobrown chicks fed from one day old on a diet containing 1% hot red pepper. Lenfoid infiltration and hyperemic areas in the parenchym, and hypertrophy in most of the glomeruli were observed. A thickening and adhesion of parietal and visceral sheets was observed in the glomeruli of some of the experimental groups. The average glomerulus diameter of the experimental groups was much more than that of the control groups, and these differences were thought to be statistically significant.
