Zonguldak ili sahip olduğu endüstriyel miras değerleri açısından eşsiz bir konumdadır. Mevcut değerler sadece bölgenin eski endüstriyel mekanları ile sınırlı kalmayıp aynı zamanda sosyolojik bir yöne sahip olan anıtlara da evsahipliği eder. Bu sebeple Zonguldak’a gelen turistler sadece madenler ve kömür ile ilişkili obje ve mekanları görmez aynı zamanda kentin emek yoğun yapısı ile kömür uğruna çekilen acıları da tanıma şansına sahip olur. Bu çalışmada Zonguldak ilinin sahip olduğu endüstriyel miras turizmi kaynakları kullanılarak bir tur önerisi oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede günübirlik bir tur rotası hazırlanmıştır. Tur Zonguldak İl merkezi ve Zonguldak’ın bir ilçesi olan Karadeniz Ereğli sınırları içerisinde gerçekleşmektedir. Tur önerisi öncesi, bölgede tur faaliyetleri düzenlemiş 3 turist rehberinden uzman görüşü alınmıştır. Yapılan görüşmeler neticesinde günübirlik bir tur planının hazırlanmasına, endüstriyel miras kaynaklarına ek olarak madenleri çağrıştırması sebebi ile bölgedeki iki mağaranın rotaya dahil edilmesine karar verilmiştir. Bölgeye dair araştırmalar doküman analizi ile gerçekleşmiş ayrıca ortaya konulan tur planındaki her bir noktaya ziyaretler gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Zonguldak province is in a unique position in terms of its industrial heritage values. Existing values are not only limited to the old industrial spaces of the region, but also host monuments with a sociological aspect. For this reason, tourists who come to Zonguldak not only see the objects and places related to mines and coal, but also have the chance to get to know the laborintensive structure of the city and the suffering for coal. In this study, it is aimed to create a tour proposal by using the industrial heritage tourism resources of Zonguldak province. In this context, a daily tour route has been prepared. The tour takes place in the city center of Zonguldak and within the borders of Karadeniz Ereğli, a district of Zonguldak. Before the tour proposal, expert opinion was obtained from 3 tourist guides who organized tour activities in the region. As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to prepare a one-day tour plan and to include two caves in the region on the route, as it evokes mines in addition to industrial heritage resources. Research on the region was carried out by document analysis, and visits were made to each point in the tour plan.
