Doğu'yu Batı'ya Doğru Heykelle Yorumlamak ve Isamu Noguchi

Bu çalışma ile Noguchi’nin yaşamının, sanat anlayışı ve estetik tavrına etkisi ana hatlarıyla irdelenerek; onun yapıtlarının biçimsel oluşumları ile yaşam tarzı, doğayı yorumlayışı ve insan kavramına yaklaşımı arasındaki yakın bağ ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Özellikle de Noguchi’nin hem Doğu hem de Batı kültürü tarafından biçimlenen kimliğinin, sanatına ve kendisini var etme sürecine kattığı özgünlük araştırılmıştır.

Interpreting East Toward West Through The Sculpture and Isamu Noguchi

This study aims to define the impact of Noguchi’s life on his art and aesthetic attitude as well as to explore the relationship between the form of his art work and way of life, his interpretation of nature and human concept. In particular, the study investigates how Noguchi’s unusual identity, which encompasses both East and West, influenced the development of his art and character.
