Malign mikst Müllerian tümör ( karsinosarkom )

Amaç: Malign mikst Müllerian tümör (MMMT) nadir görüldüğü ve özellikle küretaj materyallerinde tanı güçlüklerine yol açtığı için bir MMMT olgusu küretaj ve histerektomi materyalleri karşılaştırılarak sunuldu. Olgu sunumu: Postmenopozal uterin kanama şikayeti olan 70 yaşında kadın hastanın küretaj ve histerektomi materyalleri değerlendirildi. Küretaj materyalinde tümör dokusu belirgin bir diferansiyasyon göstermeyen papiller yapılardan oluşuyordu. Histerektomi materyali MMMT'e ait karsinomatöz ve sarkomatöz alanları gösterdi. Sonuç: MMMT karsinomatöz ve sarkomatöz elementlerin küretaj materyallerinde bulunmaması nedeniyle tanı güçlüklerine yol açabilir, heterolog elementlerin varlığından dolayı histerektomi materyallerinde bile tanı problemleri gösterebilir.

Malignant mixed Mullerian tumor ( carcinosarcoma )

Object: A malignant mixed Mullerian tumor (MMMT) poses especially in curettage materials case was presented comparing curettage and histerectomy materials due to its rare occurrence and diagnostic difficulties. Case report: Curettage and histerectomy materials of a 70- year-old female patient suffered from post-menopausal uterine bleeding were evaluated. The tumor tissue seen in the curettage material consisted of undifferentiated papillary structures. Histerectomy material showed carcinomatous and sarcomatous areas of MMMT. Conclusion: MMMT may cause diagnostic difficulties owing to absence of carcinomatous and sarcomatous elements in curettage materials. Furthermore, diagnosis may be complicated due to the presence of heterologous elements even in histerectomy materials.
